REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1) We see in this passage that there are physical and spiritual preparations that should happen as we prepare to worship God. What is one practical thing you could do this week to prepare yourself and your heart for corporate worship before Sunday?


2) In this story, the time of worship included many people using their gifts and serving in different ways. How has God gifted you, and what is one way you could become more engaged in serving and strengthening the worship and ministry of the church?


3. The people gathered to give thanks for what God had done. What is something God has done in your life recently that you can thank Him for, even if you're going through a difficult season?


4. Nehemiah's generation made sacrifices so that worship would continue beyond their own lifetime. What investment of your time, resources, or influence might God be calling you to make so that future generations will know, love, and worship Him?
