There is a place for you to serve at FirstSF.

The church is a place where we get to serve the body of Christ together! There are needs we have that could use your gifts and skill set to be the hands and feet of Jesus: whether that is greeting someone on a Sunday morning, sitting and sharing truth with a youth student, or serving alongside our partners near and far. We truly believe serving is a vital role in following the way of Jesus.

Volunteer Ministry Opportunites

Accessibility Ministry
Ministry Leaders: Cheryl Vidales & Judy Lawing | There are opportunities to be a buddy to a child or teen who needs support during the worship service or in children's/youth classes, so that their parents/caregivers can take a break and fully enjoy a Sunday morning small group and/or the worship celebration.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Ministry Leaders: Eric & Sandra Gray | Each week, we have the opportunity to sit alongside people in our community to share the love of Jesus through language. No teaching experience is necessary to volunteer.
FirstKIDS
Birth - 5th Grade
Children's Ministry Director: Jessie Deol | FirstKIDS ministry is vibrant and always growing! It is one of our largest ministries at FirstSF. Jessie can guide you to your next steps in how you can become involved with this ministry.
FirstYOUTH
6th - 12th Grade
Associate Pastor: Clark Fobes | FirstYOUTH middle and high school students are incredible. This year we have been so thankful for the fruit and growth that we see amongst the teenagers that make up FirstYOUTH. Clark will be able to share with you what the needs are in the ministry.
Urban Ministries
Community Outreach Director: Wilfred S. | Each week we meet, we need volunteers to help cook, set up & clean up, fellowship and invite the urban poor to join us for our Bible study.
Worship: Audio Visuals / Production
Ministry of Worship Arts: David Busch | Making sure that the mic works, when the lights dim, live streaming the service, lyrics and more! Let us know if you have the skills or would like to be trained to be a part of this team!
Worship: Choir / Band
Minister of Worship Arts: David Busch | Whether you would like to join the Choir that sings on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month or you are interested in playing a musical instrument, we would like to connect you with David.
