The Good Hand of God
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1) Where might you be trying to be in control of your life instead of trusting in God’s sovereignty? What would it actually look like this week to wait on his timing while still praying, serving, and preparing?
2. Think about your current position—your job, your home, your relationships. In what specific ways can you begin to leverage that position for the glory of God instead of just your own comfort or success?
3. Nehemiah didn’t rush in, he planned, assessed, and involved others. Where might you need to slow down and seek God’s wisdom instead of just acting on instinct? Who are the people you need to invite in so you’re not doing it alone?
4. When God works in and through your life, are you quick to point back to him, or do you subtly take the credit? What would it look like for you to more intentionally testify to the “good hand of God” in your everyday conversations this week?
