John 10:1-10

It is only through Jesus that we can experience salvation.
Jesus offers eternal life and abundant life.
Following others will only end in death and destruction.

Discussion Questions:

What do you think it was like to grow up with Jesus as a big brother? Do you think it is significant that Jesus’ own family members believed in Him as the Messiah?

Read John 9:18-34. Compare the different reactions from the man who had been healed, his parents, and the religious leaders.

What is the difference between Jesus claiming to be the shepherd and Him claiming to be the door? Why was it important for him to make both statements?

What do you think abundant life in Jesus looks like? Specifically, what would it look like for you to experience life abundantly? What can you do this week to experience the abundant life that Jesus offers?

Jesus says the thief comes steal, kill, and destroy. Read Ezekiel 34:1-10 to see how God described the false shepherds in the Old Testament. How can we guard against the thief/false shepherds?
