1. We must never forget that imperatives flow from indicatives. Where are you most tempted to reverse this order? Where do you feel a pressure to behave so that you can belong? How can you intentionally keep the correct order in your life?
2. Paul reminds believers of our past bondage. How does honestly remembering that you were once enslaved to sin change the way you respond to people who frustrate you, disagree with you, or live differently from you?
3. We are to devote ourselves to good works that are profitable for people. What good works is God calling you to? How can you pursue the goodness of others, especially those in need, and not just yourself?
