SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE
9:15am GrowthKIDS Classes**
10:30am FirstKIDS Classes
On 5th Sundays, the elementary students remain in the Worship Auditorium during the service.*
This is an hour that focuses on discipleship that is uniquely designed for all kids (birth through 5th grade). The focus of this time is to look deeper into the stories we are learning about in firstKIDS. We work on Bible study skills, Scripture memorization, and discuss aspects of discipleship. Children have the opportunity to learn about God's Word in a way that is both age appropriate and fun!! **GrowthKIDS meets each week that Growth Courses and Church-Wide Prayer are scheduled. (CLICK HERE for the schedule.)
During this hour, a high emphasis is placed on Bible teaching and on being sensitive to the spiritual needs and development of each child. Memory verse activities, games, and crafts are used to help reinforce Bible truths.
Elementary firstKIDS do not meet on the occasional 5th Sunday. Children 1st - 5th grade will remain in the worship service with their parents. This is an opportunity for these children to participate with the rest of the congregation in the entire worship service. (CLICK HERE for more info)
We provide classes for children birth - 5th Grade during both the 9:15am hour and the 10:30am service.
Sunday Check-In for all kids is available in the FirstKids Reception Area starting at 9:00am.
Babies Class (Birth - 17 months)
Volunteers demonstrate Christ's love through cuddling, soothing, and playing with these precious little ones and integrate care with age appropriate Bible stories and songs. (The Family Room with live feed of the worship service is also available for nursing moms and children.)
Toddlers & Twos Class (18 months - 2 years)
Bible story activities include centers, songs, and crafts that reinforce the theme from the lesson.
Preschool Classes (3 & 4 year olds and 5 year olds/Pre-K)
At this age level foundational truths begin to take root in the hearts and minds of children. Each Bible lesson is reinforced with activities in music, art, puzzles, blocks, and role play. Bible memory verses are also introduced.
These children are beginning to learn letters and other reading skills, so in addition to music, crafts, and blocks, some activities that emphasize the written Word of God are used.
Early Elementary (1st & 2nd Grades)
Upper Elementary (3rd - 5th Grades)
Elementary age children participate in the beginning of our 10:30am worship service and then are dismissed to go to their classes.
We use The Gospel Project, a Biblically sound and age appropriate curriculum that is relevant to the lives of all kids.
All of our children's ministry volunteers receive a background check before serving with FirstKIDS.
